Chinese Congress Set to Make XI Jinping 'President for Life'
China National People’s Congress set to vote on constitutional changes
China’s National People’s Congress meets today to vote on a number of reforms. The most notable is the proposed scrapping on the two-term limit on the presidency. The changes are widely expected to pass, which could mean that current premier XI Jinping could become “president for life”.
