US Government Shuts Down After Senate Vote
The US Senate has voted down a government bill to extend the funding of federal agencies.
The US government is approaching a federal shutdown after the Senate failed to agree on a new budget; US Vice President, Mike Pence, begins his Middle East visit in Egypt; and the authorities in Bangladesh say they have now counted more than a million Rohingya refugees living in camps near the border with Myanmar.
