Turkey Offensive Causes Civilian Casualties

Syrian activists say at least 54 fighters and 20 civilians have been killed since the operation began. Turkey says it is attacking Kurdish militants which it considers to be terrorists. Also, Democrats and Republicans agree a temporary budget deal to end the US government shut down, and executives from the governing board of USA Gymnastics resign following a sex abuse scandal.
