Gunmen Attack Kabul Hotel

Four heavily armed gunmen attack the Intercontinental Hotel in the Afghan capital. The Intercontinental Hotel is considered an iconic symbol of the city, it was last attacked seven years ago when more than twenty people died. Also, Turkey launches a new offensive in Syria, and the women's wing of Togo's opposition calls on President Faure Gnassingbe to release political prisoners.
