Syria's Humanitarian Corridor

Fighting continued in Eastern Ghouta during the first daily five-hour "pause"

We hear from BBC Arabic after there was shelling and strikes in the rebel-held Eastern Ghouta area in Syria. This comes despite the first daily five-hour "pause" ordered by the government's ally Russia. Also, an Egyptian judge has extended the detention of a female singer charged with "inciting debauchery" after her music video sparked controversy. And, German cities will be allowed to ban older diesel vehicles from some areas following a landmark court ruling.
