Taliban offer: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani seeks talks

Ghani offered peace talks "without preconditions" to the Taliban after 16 years of war.

The Afghan President, Ashraf Ghani, has offered unconditional peace talks with the Taliban and the possibility of recognising them as a legitimate political group.
