Turkey Defiant after Assault on Kurdish Enclave
Turkish allies call for restraint after troops launch offensive over the border in Syria.
There have been international calls for restraint after Turkey launched a ground offensive against a Kurdish enclave in northern Syria. A top Turkish Nato official told Newshour that instead of supporting an ally, the United States had backed the creation of a Syrian border force including YPG fighters, who posed a direct threat to Turkey
