EU Adopts Plastics Strategy

The European Commission has pledged to make all plastic packaging recyclable by 2030 as part of the first ever Europe-wide strategy to reduce plastic usage.

Also on the programme: Thirteen siblings are being treated for what appears to have been years of starvation and maltreatment after they were rescued from their family home in California, and Nigeria releases Boko Haram suspects after rehabilitation.
