Zimbabwe's president has appeared at a graduation ceremony while talks with the military continue.
The Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe has made his first public appearance - at a graduation ceremony in the capital, Harare - since the military put him under house arrest on Wednesday. Earlier the military said talks with Mr Mugabe were continuing and there had been significant progress in targeting what it called the "criminals surrounding him". Some reports say Mr Mugabe has been demanding guarantees and a dignified exit.
