Physicist Stephen Hawking dies aged 76
Professor Hawking wrote several popular science books including A Brief History of Time.
The world renowned physicist, Stephen Hawking -- who was known for his ground-breaking work on black holes -- has died aged seventy-six; Democrat and Republican candidates are neck-and-neck in a Congressional election in an area of Pennsylvania that had voted strongly for Donald Trump; and the British government is preparing to announce the measures it will take against Russia because of a nerve agent attack on a former double agent.
