Syria: the Battle for Eastern Ghouta

Fierce fighting is continuing and the Syrian army says it has surrounded a major town in the rebel-held enclave.

Today, we take a look at the plight of the 400,000 people still trapped in Eastern Ghouta, as Syrian government forces try to retake the area from the rebels.

Amnesty International has accused the government in Myanmar of attempting to remake the state of Rakhine, after forcing Rohingya Muslims to flee.
