Vote Counting in Liberia After Run-off Election
Observers say the poll has been better organised than in the first round
Election observers in Liberia say voting has gone smoothly in the Presidential election run-off on Tuesday. A former international football star, George Weah, is running against the current vice president, Joseph Boakai. A result isn't expected for a few days.
The Russian President Vladimir Putin has been formally nominated to stand for re-election in March for what will be his fourth term.
The former US president, Barack Obama, says the irresponsible use of social media is spreading misinformation and corroding civil discourse.
