America's foreign policy under President Trump as the administration discusses future strategy for Afghanistan and South Asia
President Trump will meet top military advisors tomorrow to discuss a new strategy for US involvement in Afghanistan and South Asia. There are currently about 8000 American troops in Afghanistan and Defense Secretary, James Mattis, has said that the options range from a full military withdrawal to a several thousand troop increase. Also in the programme; the inexorable rise of Irish fighter Connor McGregor to face Floyd Mayweather Junior in what is being billed as the biggest-grossing boxing match of all time and; the ongoing manhunt for Moroccan-born Younes Abouyaaqoub whom police suspect was the driver of the van that mowed down and killed 13 people on Las Ramblas in Barcelona on Thursday.
