Kurdistan Independence Referendum Underway

Iraqi Kurds vote in a controversial poll they hope will see the region split from Iraq. The vote has been condemned by the central government in Baghdad and by regional powers Turkey and Iran. Also, the German Chancellor begins the process to form a coalition and the US President, Donald Trump, extends travel restrictions.
