
EU Paves the Way for UK Trade Talks
EU not prepared to start UK trade talks yet, but they may begin in December
The European Council President Donald Tusk has said progress was "not sufficient" to begin trade talks with the UK now but that "doesn't mean there is no progress at all". EU leaders will discuss the issue internally, paving the way for talks with the UK, possibly in December.
Also in the programme; further fighting between Kurdish forces and the Iraqi military and; a controversial plan by the mayor of Sao Paolo to feed the poor on reconstituted goods approaching their sell-by date.
