
Police Seal off Catalan Polling Stations
National police have sealed more than half of the schools designated as polling stations
Spanish national police have sealed off 1,300 of 2,315 schools in Catalonia designated as polling stations for the banned independence referendum according to the government in Madrid. The move comes as the Spanish authorities step up their attempts to stop today's referendum.
