
President Trump Blasts US Television Networks
He has stepped up his row with the broadcasters after an NBC report
President Trump said his country's television networks had become so partisan and distorted their licenses should be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked. He's been angered by a report on NBC news which claimed he had told security officials and generals he wanted an almost tenfold increase in the country's nuclear arsenal.
Spain's prime minister Mariano Rajoy has asked the regional government in Catalonia to clarify whether or not it had declared independence.
Kenya's electoral commission says all eight candidates who took part in the cancelled presidential poll in August will be allowed to take part in the re-run on October the 26th. This includes the opposition leader, Raila Odinga, who said he was withdrawing from the race on Tuesday.
