US media say at least six of President Trump's closest advisors have used private e-mail accounts to discuss government business since he took office; votes are being counted following an independence referendum in the Kurdish region of Iraq - held in defiance of the government in Baghdad; and the Brazilian government has reversed plans to open up a vast area of the Amazon to commercial mining.
