Island of Barbuda Devastated by Hurricane Irma

Almost all the buildings on the tiny Caribbean island of Barbuda are damaged - and at least one person has been killed - after being hit by the hurricane. It's now hurtling towards Puerto Rico.

The social media site, Facebook, says it has discovered a Russian-funded campaign to promote divisive social and political messages during last year's US presidential election campaign.

More than 80% of the world's tap water is contaminated by plastic particles so small, there is a chance they could penetrate internal organs, according to new research by the State University of New York and the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health.
