At least 5 have died in latest Mumbai flooding
Monsoon rains have killed at least five people, including two toddlers, in Mumbai as India's financial capital ground to a halt under flooding. The rains in Mumbai follow devastating floods across a swathe of South Asia, which have killed more than 1,200. More rain is expected.
Tropical storm Harvey may have moved east towards Louisiana, that doesn't mean the crisis over in Texas. Indeed, the state Governor has warned the worst of the flooding is far from over.
2000 people in the Central African Republic are trapped in a church compound surrounded by armed militias. They are all Muslims displaced by violence, who have found temporary refuge in the seminary in a small town called Bangassou. The story illustrates the reality of the C.A.R, a country unable to break the cycle of violence.
