
'Terrorists' Killed by Police in Cambrils, Spain
Catalan police: possible terrorist incident in the town of Cambrils, south of Barcelona
Spanish police are searching for the driver of the van which ploughed into crowds on the best known street of the city of Barcelona. At least thirteen people were killed in what the Spanish Prime Minister has called a jihadist attack. There's been a shootout in Cambrils, a town south of Barcelona. in which police have shot dead a number of presumed terrorists.
The mass burial has taken place in Sierra Leone of about three hundred people killed by a mudslide and flooding close to the capital, Freetown. There was a multi-faith memorial service at the burial site, in the nearby city of Waterloo. Six hundred people are still thought to be missing, while more than four hundred are known to have been killed.
