President Trump is facing growing criticism after his latest comments from a press conference, in which he blamed both sides for the deadly violence at a rally organised by white supremacists in Charlottesville on Saturday. There has been backlash from business owners, and foreign leaders and members of his own party.
At least 600 people are still missing following a mudslide and flooding that devastated parts of Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown, according to the president’s spokesperson. President Ernest Bai Koroma has declared seven days of mourning while pleading for "urgent support".
The so called Islamic State group is collapsing and attention has been focused on British and other fighters returning home. But there is another threat, from child soldiers trained by IS and now living in Europe. By conservative estimates as many as 2,000 children may have graduated from IS military training, the group calls them Lion Cubs.
