'17 dead' in Burkina Faso Attack

The government of Burkina Faso says at least seventeen people have been killed in a terrorist attack on a restaurant in the capital, Ouagadougou.

Demonstrations have been held in cities across the United States to condemn white supremacism, following the violence in Charlottesville on Saturday.

The US vice-president Mike Pence -- on a visit to Colombia -- has said the region must act to prevent Venezuela from becoming a dictatorship.
