BBC World Service launches emergency radio service for Gaza
BBC News Arabic has a new, emergency lifeline radio service for people in Gaza in response to the conflict.
It will provide people with the latest information and developments as well as safety advice on where to access shelter, food and water supplies.
This isn’t the first time the BBC World Service has produced an emergency radio service. They did the same in Sudan earlier this year and Ukraine in 2022.
What in the World's Hannah Gelbart went to the third floor of the BBC's headquarter's in London to speak to BBC Arabic's Adel Soliman, one of the editors of this new broadcast.
