Former Meta employee: 'I was paid to do very little'

A former employee of a big tech company claims that despite her high salary, she actually had very little work to do.

Madelyn Machado left Microsoft to join Facebook's parent company, Meta, as a recruiter in 2021. But she was disappointed that she wasn't given enough work to do. She was so frustrated that she started to post videos on TikTok, some of which were watched by half a million people.

We caught up with Madelyn who described her normal day at work while she was there. She has since left the company.
