‘I actually have a vision now for my future.’
Anna Marie Johnson damaged her spine in a pool accident when she was eight. Taken out of school high school in Namibia because family couldn’t support her she says, ‘I stopped dreaming, I stopped planning, I stopped fantasising [about] anything that had to do with the future.’ But a chance meeting led to her job as a diamond polisher at André Messika in Windhoek and a brighter future.
