Did Boko Haram kidnap 300 schoolboys?
The governor of Katsina State in north-west Nigeria has told the BBC that the gunmen who kidnapped hundreds of schoolboys last week are well known local criminals with links to Boko Haram. On Tuesday the leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, said his group was behind the attack. Meanwhile, the Nigerian Union of Teachers has threatened a nationwide strike unless the government urgently improves the security situation.
The BBC's Nigeria correspondent Mayeni Jones asked Governor Aminu Bello Masari what information he has on the kidnappers.
