The US election through African eyes

As vote counting continues in a handful of key US battleground states, protesters have taken to the streets of several cities to demand counting be allowed to continue - while elsewhere, others have called for it to stop mid-count. President Trump has alleged voting fraud, without offering evidence.

BBC's North America correspondent Larry Madowo, a Kenyan, has been watching the situation develop. He describes how things look from an African perspective and how the US Presidential elections compare to those in Africa.
