Coronavirus: Iceland's different approach

Iceland has taken a very different approach than most countries caught in the coronavirus pandemic. The government has restricted gatherings - but only of more than 20 people. Schools and day care centres remain open. And as far as tourism is concerned, the country is open for business. What Iceland has done is introduce - really - extensive testing. Partnering with a private company, anyone who wants a test in Iceland, can get one. This has thrown up an interesting result - half of the people who tested positive in randomised trials in the community were found to be asymptomatic - have no symptoms at all, when they were tested.
