Nigeria begins partial lockdown
It's one night into Nigeria’s two-week partial lockdown. People in the country’s two main cities, Lagos and Abuja, as well as Ogun state, have been ordered to stay at home. The federal government announced the 14 day restriction on movement to try to slow the spread of coronavirus. There are now more than 130 positive cases in Nigeria. Newsday heard more from Garba Shehu, the spokesperson for President Muhammadu Buhari:
