How Italy's quarantined towns are coping

Italian officials are fighting to control the worst outbreak of the coronavirus in Europe.

About 50,000 people are quarantined in two northern "hotspot" regions close to Milan and Venice and cannot enter or leave for two weeks.

The Venice Carnival and several top-flight football matches have been cancelled, with many businesses and schools suspending activities even outside the zone.

Rossella helps to run a small family hotel, Country Sunshine, in Codogno in the quarantined region of Lombardy, south of Milan.
