Marieke Vervoort: Losing my friend to euthanasia
Belgian wheelchair racer and Paralympian Marieke Vervoort this week chose to end her life through euthanasia. The 40-year-old had an incurable spinal disease and suffered constant pain and seizures. Her close friend Lieve Bullens, who was was there with her, spoke to the BBC.
