Missing writer 'taken away by security personnel' in China
The Australian-Chinese writer Yang Hengjun has not been seen for five days. He was travelling from New York to Guangzhou Airport when he was last heard of. The Australian government says they are investigating his whereabouts. The former diplomat and blogger had written critically about the Chinese government. We spoke to his friend and colleague Feng Chongyi, who says he fears he is being detained as part of 'an extension of the hostage diplomacy' carried out by the Chinese government.
