How to get 500 amateurs to sing in unison
Esmeralda Conde Ruiz is a choral conductor who was given the tricky job of putting together a brand new choir of 500 amateur singers from across London, to sing Peter Liversidge's The Bridge, a piece specially composed for the opening of the Tate Modern art gallery's new building in 2016. Esmeralda explains to Kim Chakanetsa how she appproached the challenge.
