'Like a trip to Mars'
Astronomer Violette Impellizzeri works at the ALMA observatory in Chile's Atacama Desert - the most powerful radio telescope in the world. Every few weeks she travels from the capital, Santiago, to base camp at the observatory, which she describes as 'like a trip to Mars.'
