Supernova explosion captured by telescopes
For the first time scientists have recorded the magnetic field emissions from a supernova, the massive explosion that occurs when a star dies and becomes a black hole. Carole Mundell, Professor of Extragalactic Astronomy & Head of Physics at the University of Bath, speaks to Ben James.
