Turkey To Start Its Largest Coup Trial

Hundreds are to face judges

Later today, almost five hundred people -- accused of plotting to overthrow the Turkish government -- are to appear in court. It is Turkey's largest trial relating to last year's failed coup.

Venezuela's president, Nicolas Maduro, says new US sanctions targeting him personally are desperate and hateful. He accused Washington of imperialism.

White House communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, has been dismissed. He was only ten days into the job.
