
Polish President Vetoes Judicial Reform
President Duda says the controversial laws would not "deepen the sense of justice".
The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, has announced he is vetoing controversial laws which would have given the government extensive power over judicial appointments. The changes sparked large-scale protests across Poland and put Warsaw on a collision course with the European Commission. We get reaction from a Polish Supreme Court justice and a member of parliament for the governing party.
