The Iraqi government has hailed the recapture of the famous Nuri mosque complex in the city of Mosul from Islamic State fighters as a turning point in the battle against the jihadists.
President Trump has been widely condemned for launching an outspoken attack on Twitter against a prominent female journalist. Mr Trump called Mika Brzezinski "low IQ crazy Mika", in response to disparaging remarks about him on the MSNBC breakfast show "Morning Joe".
