Battle for Mosul: IS Destroys Ancient Mosque

Iraqi forces say so-called Islamic State has blown up the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul.

The mosque in the Iraqi city of Mosul in which Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi made his only public appearance as leader of the so-called Islamic State has been destroyed.

We hear from a village in Gambia where most of the men have headed for Europe, but provide a lifeline for the families they've left behind.
