Belgian soldiers have shot dead a suspected suicide bomber in Brussels Central Station. They opened fire after the man detonated a device, causing a small explosion.
The Republicans have won a special US congressional election in Georgia, after a tight contest that was seen as a test of support for President Trump.
Humanitarian sources say at least forty people have been killed in the Central African Republic, a day after a ceasefire agreement was signed between the government and almost all the rebel groups in the country.
