White House Defends Trump's Intelligence Sharing

Donald Trump's National Security Adviser says the president in no way compromised any sources or methods in a meeting with Russia's foreign minister last week. H R McMaster defended Mr Trump's conversation with Sergei Lavrov as "wholly appropriate". So what is a US president allowed to share?
