US And China Sign Trade Agreement

Washington says the deal will reduce China's trade surplus with the United States.

The United States and China have announced a new trade deal that Washington says will reduce its trade deficit with Beijing. Under the agreement, China will allow American imports of beef and the US will grant access to its markets for Chinese cooked poultry. We discuss the economic and political implications of the deal.
