US Senators to Receive Classified Briefing on North Korea

US President Donald Trump is to hold a classified briefing with US Senators on North Korea on Wednesday.

The United States has expressed deep concern over air raids by Turkey on Kurdish fighters in Syria and Iraq. A State Department spokesman said the US-led coalition against the Islamic State group had not approved the strikes, which he said had caused the "deaths of partners" in the battle against I-S. The Turkish military said it killed some seventy Kurdish militants in the raids.
