Turkey Bombs Kurdish Fighters in Syria

Turkish warplanes target Kurdish militants in the northeastern region of Syria.

Turkish warplanes have struck YPG fighters who are part of a US backed coalition which has been closing in on the so called Islamic State bastion of Raqqa. Also in the programme, France's outgoing president calls for unity and strength at a memorial for a policeman shot dead in Paris last week, and we'll hear from the translator of a novel which won the Welcome Prize for Science Writing.
