G7 Nations Pressure Russia to Re-evaluate Support for Syria

There's mounting international pressure on Russia to re-evaluate its support for the Syrian leader, Bashar al-Assad, following last week's apparent chemical attack. Foreign ministers from the G-7 group of industrialised nations meeting in Italy are due to finalise a common position to present to Russia.

The American carrier, United Airlines, has issued a partial apology after one of its passengers was hurt while being forcibly removed from an overbooked flight.

A 14,000-year-old mammoth tusk has been uncovered at an archaeological site in Alaska. It was found at the Holzman excavation site 70 miles southeast of Fairbanks along with a prehistoric campfire.
