G7 Meeting Focuses on Syria

Foreign ministers from the G7 industrialised nations are meeting in Italy where discussions are focused on western policy towards Syria and Russia. A former US ambassador to Damascus reflects on the options open to the Trump administration. Also in the programme; the USA, Canada and Mexico officially launch a bid to jointly host the 2026 football World Cup and; reports of imprisonment and torture of homosexuals in Chechnya.
