What is it Like Presenting OS?
Nuala McGovern tells listeners how she is finding presenting OS,a new two-hour news programme, and the Editor addresses a listener’s complaint about the format.
A new two-hour news programme replaced World Have Your Say and Outside Source. BBC World Service controller, Mary Hockaday promised OS would be a marriage of the two flagship shows. Presenter, Nuala McGovern joins Rajan Datar in the studio to talk about how she is finding the new format, while listener, Carol Ross from the US has a few questions for her. OS editor, Simon Peeks, addresses the complaint of Amboko from Ethiopia who is concerned the debate element of World Have Your Say has all but disappeared.
Also, following a Crowd Science episode on accents, listeners from all over the world have been getting in touch to give their views on the subject.
