Scottish Independence Back on the Table

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will ask permission to hold a second referendum

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will ask for permission to hold a second referendum on Scottish independence, claiming the people of Scotland must be offered a choice between a "hard Brexit" and becoming an independent country.
Also in the programme, the notorious terrorist Carlos the Jackal is back in court and the Dutch election campaign has heated up after a televised TV debate between the incumbent prime minister and his far-right rival, Geert Wilders.
