Warsaw's government strongly opposed the reappointment of Mr Tusk, a former prime minister, who is closely tied to the opposition in Poland; several hundred additional US forces have been deployed in Syria to strengthen the planned offensive against the I-S stronghold of Raqqa, the new head of the US Environmental Protection Agency says carbon dioxide emissions are not a major factor in climate change.
